The rear bearing supports the armature at the handle end of the motor, while the baffle helps channel cooling air and protect the windings from dust and debris.
When these parts wear or deform, you may notice extra noise, shaft play, roughness and higher running temperatures. The POL04-SK08 kit replaces the rear bearing and baffle together (items 32–35 on the parts diagram), restoring the correct support and airflow so your polisher can deliver reliable performance in busy workshops, panel shops and detailing bays.
